We've been waiting two weeks and finally the hummingbirds have hatched. Here's a photo and a video of the mother feeding.

The spotted towhees have been daily visitors to our home. They also are getting used to us and come by if we are nearby. I think the sunflower seed helps.

We've seen a few hummingbird nests on our property and we are following this one closely since it's visible through a window.

Mike set up the camera on a tripod about 20 feet away and then uses a remote control to take photos from inside without disturbing the nest.

If all goes well, we hope to see a baby or two within the next ten days or so.
