Back to Lacy Park.: Baby Woodpeckers

Last week at Lacy Park, we saw a pair of nuttall's woodpeckers enter a hole in a tree carrying insects. We also heard baby woodpeckers calling but we never saw them. So, we came back this weekend in hopes that an additional week of growth would result in the babies sticking their heads out to be fed. We were right, and enjoyed the show.
